Ringing In of the New Year . .
January 10th, 2006 8:28am
I hope your week is going well. A bit stressful this way, but things are good. Here are some pics from our New Year's Eve shindig. You can see more of them on my wife's Facebook .

The evening featured a performance by Matt Sokoloski and The Matt Sokoloski Experience which included Matt Sokoloski improvising lyrics, Brittany Bradford on drums, and myself on guitar. It's been forever since Matt and I performed together and was awesome to do again. The man can improv. When he's on - he's on. It was pretty hilarious.

The featured performers of the evening were The Tom Badleys. My friends Rob Franks and Charlie Seaton rocked out playing originals and covering everything from the White Stripes to the great one: Bon Jovi.

Montague Manor was rockin and I hope none of our neighbors were too upset. It was worth it for an amazing ringing in of the new year. At the strike of 12 we played Auld Lang Syne. Though no one really knew the complete lyrics - it was a beautiful moment. We then launched in to a Meatloaf medley. Is there a better way to ring in the new year? I think not.

Next year I'm gonna find a big shiny ball and drop it.;
