Tuesday night was a historic night for theater and television. Yes, last night theater and television went out for dinner, a movie, and kissed on the doorstep. Theater and television are now totally an item. "Brad Montague: The Musical" was performed (partially) last night and was forever captured by our cameras for the television show. It made for a really magical episode!

The original guy playing me fell ill - so the understudy filled in last minute and did an incredible job. (That him in the center.) The rest of the cast was amazing too! Madison Academic High School in Jackson, TN is truly a different kind of school. The students there are really great and gave hilarious performances. They really seemed to get what we were doing. The audience also seemed to enjoy it.

It's a Brad Cheerleader!

Me and Becky Fly, who teaches theater at Madison. You know that old saying, "Those who can't do - teach"? Completely untrue in this case. She has a fine acting career on her own. It was incredible getting to work with her. Just seeing how she handles and directs the kids is a sight to behold. She's the real deal. It was a total honor working with her. She was kind enough to interview me "James Lipton Style" at the show's open.
Thanks to everyone who helped out, came to the show, or sent kind words of encouragment. I quote thespian Vin Diesel, "You are the wind beneath my wings.";
